Bookings and payments

These terms apply to bookings with Squamish Climbing Academy. Review the program description, price, dates and any program-specific conditions before booking. Your booking confirmation provides the confirmed arrangements.

Card payments are processed through Stripe. Any deposit, balance and payment schedule are shown during booking. Please provide accurate participant and contact details and tell us about medical concerns relevant to participation.

Cancellations and booking changes

Cancellations made within seven days of the scheduled program date forfeit the full program cost. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change a booking. For earlier cancellations and change requests, contact us to discuss the options applicable to your program.

Program-specific cancellation and minimum-enrollment conditions shown on the program page or in your booking communications also apply. Public courses require at least three participants. If a public course remains below that minimum seven days before its date, it is cancelled with a full refund, or moved to a selected backup date where applicable.

Weather and safety changes

If severe weather is expected to affect a scheduled course, we will contact participants the day before to discuss postponement. If you cannot postpone and the guide cancels the course, you receive a full refund.

Do not assume a course is cancelled on the morning of the course. Unless we have told you otherwise, meet your group to discuss conditions and options with the guide. An alternative venue may be suitable. Follow your guide's safety instructions throughout the program.

Liability waiver and participation

Climbing and outdoor activities involve risks. Participants must complete the applicable liability waiver and acknowledgment of risks before participating. Youth and teen participation requires the applicable parent or guardian documentation.

Read the waiver carefully before signing. It contains important information about risks and legal rights. These booking terms do not replace or change the separate waiver participants sign.
