Squamish Climbing Academy is committed to communicating with our clients both promptly and with concise information. The process is different depending on the program you have signed up for.
Climbing Camps and After-school Programs
When you book a camp or afterschool program you should receive am e-welcome package within 24 hours that will provide detailed information about the itinerary, meeting place(s), safety, rules, expectations, pick up and drop off details, packing list, guide profiles, emergency communication information, medical forms, acknowledgement of risk forms.
Course, Group Adventure, and Guided Climbs
When you fill out a booking request form you should expect a follow up phone call with-in 24-hours. During this phone call we will determine the best plan of action for your request.
Weather-Related Cancellations Policy
• Extreme Weather: If severe weather conditions are expected to affect a scheduled course, Squamish Climbing Academy will contact participants the day before to discuss possible postponement.
• Unable to Reschedule: If you are unable to postpone and the guide cancels the course, you will receive a full refund.
• Day-of Conditions: No cancellations are made on the morning of a course. Participants are expected to meet their group to review conditions and discuss options. In some cases, alternative venues may be suitable for instruction even when the weather is poor.
